The rice is cooked in santan and chicken stock, which brings it to about 138 calories per 100g on FatSecret. That is only a little more than plain rice, because Solo-style liwet uses thin coconut milk. A 200g scoop is 275 calories. The Sundanese version cooked in a kastrol pot with more oil, ikan asin and petai is heavier, roughly 320 for the same scoop.
Areh is the giveaway. That white blob on top is coconut milk reduced until it is almost solid, and a 30g spoon is 65 calories, nearly all fat. Stalls near Keprabon serve it generously. The opor chicken shreds are cooked in the same coconut base so 50g of chicken carries another 100 calories, roughly half of that from the gravy.
The labu siam in thin santan is the light part, about 70 calories per ladle, and the pindang egg is 70. So a plate with a good amount of egg and labu and less areh is a fairly balanced 500 calorie meal with 22g protein. It is sold at Rp 15,000 to 25,000 in Solo, more at the famous places.
Where it goes wrong is the add-ons: telur pindang is fine, but sambal goreng ati (liver in coconut chili), tahu bacem and a whole piece of ayam opor each add 100 to 200. The full plate at a wedding is 900 calories.
