The filling is turnip and bamboo shoot, which are nearly free. 25g of stir fried filling with a little dried shrimp is about 25 calories. The skin is where the number lives, 30g of rice and tapioca flour at about 45. The stall brushes each kueh with oil so they do not stick, which is about 18 calories per piece. That is 89 for one, and the sweet soy on top adds around 10 more.
This is the kueh to pick at a stall that also sells png kueh, ku chai kueh and fried yam. Png kueh is glutinous rice inside, about 150 per piece. The fried version of soon kueh, pan fried until the skin is crisp, is about 120 because it takes on more oil. Steamed soon kueh at 89 is the lowest calorie savoury kueh on most trays.
The problem is that they are small and the sauce is good. Three is a normal order, at about 280 with sauce, and that is a reasonable breakfast. Five with extra sweet soy is close to 500, which is a full meal from something that looks like a snack. Two pieces and a kopi o is about 240 and holds you until lunch.
