Avocado is the densest fruit on the stall. Half a medium avocado, about 120g, is 190 calories on its own, nearly all from fat. That is fine fat, the kind you want, but it is still 190 calories before anything else goes in the blender. A jus jeruk (orange) from the same stall is about 110. Jus alpukat is three times that and people order it because it is 'the healthy one'.
Then the stall makes it taste like dessert. Two tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, 30g, is 95 calories. A squeeze of sugar syrup or gula cair, another 35. The chocolate SKM painted around the glass, which is the whole point visually, is 30 more. FatSecret's 130 per 100g figure already includes some of that sweetener, and a Rp 12,000 to 18,000 warung glass is bigger than the 150g lab serving, so 320 is the honest number.
Alpukat kocok, the trending version with thicker avocado, more condensed milk and sometimes a scoop of ice cream or a cheese topping, is 400 to 500 a cup. That is a meal's worth of calories in a drink, and it comes after the meal.
The fix is easy because the avocado itself is the good part. Jus alpukat 'tanpa gula, tanpa susu' is about 200 calories, all avocado, with 4g protein and 7g fibre, and it is filling in a way that no other drink on the menu is. The problem was never the fruit.
